We took our visitors to Whiteleaf Hill this afternoon. The sun was just starting to come out and we saw a lovely Roman snail heading off into the shade.
The bees were having a lovely time on Wild Marjoram, Wild Thyme and Rosebay Willowherb.
The Beech trees were full of beech nuts, we found a strange spiders web and a magical mossy stump.

|A mossy stump - good for jumping off, but nice to look at too|
|Who lives in there then?|
