On the twelfth day of Christmas, my garden gave to me

twelve hawk moths humming

eleven ink caps dripping

ten squirrels hanging

nine spotty ladybirds
eight snails a slithering

seven rats a stealing

six hedgehogs prickling

five goldfinches

four chapping sparrows

Three flapping wings

Two lovey doves

and a red kite sat in a tree
