Halloween's approaching

It's a wild and windy day today, as the remnants of Hurricane Gonzalo thunder through. At times, the trees in the garden are being blown sideways and the air is full of leaves hurtling around in every direction. If you stand outside the noise is deafening as gust after gust roars through the branches.

The skies were looking very dramatic this morning and the moon was a tiny slither in the sky. Apparently this moon phase is called a 'waning crescent' and is the end of an old moon before we get a new moon on Thursday.

#100DaysOfNature Day 90
It all feels very dark and stormy ... just in time for Halloween!
