Conkers

Bug Mad Girl and Little Brother were both 'performing' in the school harvest festival at church this morning. On my way to watch, battling through the wind, rain and cold, I noticed there are still lots of conkers on the ground. As with many things, it seems to have been a bumper year for conkers this year!

Bug Mad Girl collected some conkers a couple of weeks ago and came home with a big box full of them. Not sure what she has planned for them (I don't think she wants to play conkers), but they are safely stashed away in the greenhouse, ready for a rainy day, perhaps.
