Baby Woodpigeon update

The baby Woodpigeon that Bug Mad Girl found in the garden (and was desperate to rescue) is fine. It had moved from the bottom of the garden to up by the house yesterday and spent the day in the bushes underneath the bird feeders. Then this morning it was sat on top of one of the bird tables looking a bit soggy and grumpy.

It's been doing a lot of flapping and stretching, building up it's wing muscles. I haven't seen the parents around, but I'm sure they're not too far away and it seems to be coping well. I wouldn't exactly call it a cute baby, but it has a certain charm and I'm glad it's OK.
