Yesterday I took the dog for a walk, with my Dad, around one of the fields near our house. It was very wet and soggy as it had rained in the night, so all the snails were out. When we were going round, we saw loads of snails enjoying the wet weather. There were so many that I decided to pick them up off the path so they didn't get squished and carry them around with me. We walked around the field twice, the first time I collected 16 snails, and the second time I saw another 16. In total I saw 32 snails! But I'm sure there were many more that we didn't see!
Snails are great and I can't wait for the huge Roman snails to appear.
